The crossover event of the year is almost here! I’ve been trying to get caught up as fast as possible and finally bringing myself to watch season 4 of Arrow. Yes, it’s as painful as the internet says it is but it’s sounding like season 5 is redeeming itself.
A rather large easter egg was found if you combined all four posters together and it will be interesting to see how it’s used in the shows going forward (if at all). Take a look and see if you can see it.
Now if you combine the posters together you’ll see The Hall Of Justice!
The Hall of Justice is based on a real-life building, Cincinnati’s Union Terminal, an Art Deco train station from the ‘30s that’s now the Cincinnati Museum Center. (Super Friends was sponsored by Cincinnati-based P&G, and the show’s creators were struck by the Terminal’s design when they were in town for a meeting with the sponsors, and the Hall of Justice was born.) The version there isn’t exactly based on Union Terminal, but it’s similar.
The Hall of Justice is home to the Justice League on Super Friends and, occasionally, in the comics.
Arrow, The Flash, and Supergirl will cross over with DC’s Legends of Tomorrow next month in “Invasion!” a three-part crossover that starts in the final moments of an episode of Supergirl and then plays through the other series. Based on the 1988 comic book event miniseries Invasion! from Keith Giffen, Bill Mantlo, Todd McFarlane, Bart Sears, and the crossover — with its marketing title “Heroes vs. Aliens” — will closely track the plot of that storyline: aliens will be assembled by The Dominators and descend on Earth to bring an end to the “threat” of Earth’s burgeoning metahuman community.
Supergirl airs Mondays at 8 p.m. ET/PT; The Flash on Tuesdays at the same time; Arrow on Wednesdays and DC’s Legends of Tomorrow on Thursdays. All four series air on The CW. The “Invasion!” crossover will air beginning November 28.
