Sucker Punch emerged from the shadows today in Paris to drop an incredible trailer for their new game, Ghost of Tsushima.
This game comes as a total surprise to just about everyone. I had heard no rumors of developers Sucker Punch working on a samurai game which is a pretty impressive feat. Not many games appear out of thin air like this these days.
It’s been three years since Sucker Punch’s last game, Infamous Second Son. A game I liked but never fell in love with, but it did have some great ideas. It looks like those ideas have been expanded in this first trailer for Ghost of Tsushima. The game will have an explorable open world and is set during the Mongol invasion of Tsushima Island in the 12th century. I am down for a history lesson!
