Mighty No. 9 Trailer is an Utter Letdown

Caution: The trailer you are about to see will not make you happy.
I was pumped for this game, even just yesterday I saw the cases on display at EB Games and told myself that Mighty No. 9 was going be awesome. But it looks really bad. Like, really bad.
Some early playthroughs have been getting some good reviews from fans so I’ll wait until I play it to make a final judgement. Graphics aside, it does seem like a fun way to kill some hours, and it certainly has an old school Mega-Man feel.
But that narration is really uncomfortable.
“And make the bad guys cry like an anime fan on prom night,” says the narrator, who will never work again, despite the fact that this is a video game starring anime characters. It’s all very odd.
