Catherine, one of the best games of the last generation is being remade for the PS4 and PlayStation Vita, publisher Atlus announced today.
The game was first released in 2011 and was more than just a pretty good action/puzzle game. It had style, sex and adult relationships that still holds up today. It can be incredibly frustrating but it is really fun and the storyline is top notch.
Persona 5 director Katsura Hashino is in charge of the project—called Catherine FB (for Full Body)—and Famitsu reports that there’ll now be a third Catherine (!!!) in the game (the original had two endings for two different paths the player could choose).
That’s a lot of Catherines. I can’t wait. It will be interesting to see if Troy Baker comes back when Atlus tends to lean on Matt Mercer.
Xbox fans will unfortunately have to stick to playing the game via backwards compatibility.
