The Biggest Rumoured Games That We Might See At E3

Are you ready for some rumors that don’t involve my sexuality?! Brocky Jezebel has the latest E3 rumors for you!

I really thought Elder Scrolls 6 was going be announced at this years E3, but all signs point to it probably not appearing till 2018 at the earliest. This might convince me to finally give Elder Scrolls Online a try as I patiently wait for the next addition to the Elder Scroll’s story. Thankfully I’ll also hopefully have all these games to keep me busy. Of course, these are all rumored so take them with a pinch of salt, but it’s a safe bet you’ll see at least a few of these on display at this years E3 bonanza.

I’m not including games we already know are in development such as Days Gone, Dreams, Knack 2, God of War, etc.

Rumoured Games:

Seamen 2

The Dreamcast game from hell is back to haunt your dreams in 60FPS/4K total immersion. At least that’s what I hope. Game developer Yoot Saito tweeted yesterday a photo of 6 men wearing t-shirts emblazoned with Seaman’s tagline, “Don’t Panic!” and a silhouette of Seaman himself. Fuck me, I’m excited!

If Xbox picks up a bunch of Dreamcast titles like this (and hopefully a new Phantasy Star Online) I will go Bananas.

Splinter Cell

Surprise. It’s coming. Mark my words.

The Evil Within 2

This is pretty much a given and Hapanese job postings have been floating around the internet for time now.  I never played the first one, should I?

Wolfenstein: The New Colossus

With Bethesda’s calendar pretty clear for the next two years I could see this coming out the same time as both Doom and Prey did in May of next year.

Dragon Age 4

Dragon Age: Origins is free on Games With Gold for May which may mean nothing or mean that we might finally get an announcement on Dragon Age 4. It’s been teased by Bioware (see photo above) so I expect an announcement is around the corner.

New Sucker Punch title

It’s been rumored a video will appear showing off their new game for the PS4 at E3 this year. I know a lot of people want Infamous 3 but I’d rather see a new Sly Cooper and The Thievius Raccoons. Or a new IP altogether. Sucker Punch is a wonderfully fun studio with some great gameson their resume.

Super Smash Bros Deluxe (Nintendo Switch)

After the success of Mario Kart 8 Deluxe, it seems like a no-brainer for Nintendo to port over Super Smash Bros to the Nintendo Switch.

Fallout: New Orleans

We have nothing to go on but a trademark registered in Europe earlier this year. I’m hoping it’s a standalone expansion like Fallout: New Vegas.

Cyberpunk: 2077

Nothing but a short teaser to please the crowd and get people talking. Of all the games on this list, I’m most excited for this one.

Something super secret from Microsoft

Blinx the Cat 2? Crimson Skies 2? A New IP? Something’s gotta get shown other than Crackdown 3, State of Decay 2, Cuphead and Sea of Thieves. Hopefully Betty White and The Rock are there to wrestle over the Scorpio and announce some new games. If I was going make a bold prediction I’d say Splinter Cell will be a timed console exclusive on the Xbox One.

Things I don’t expect to see:

A new Metroid game on the Switch.

Beyond Good & Evil 2

Bloodborne 2

A New Batman Game

PSP Vita 2

Half-Life 3

SNES Classic Edition

Pokemon Stars (This one might actually show up, It’s a rumoured new Pokemon game for the Switch)

And the really fucking obvious:

Mario & Rabbids Kingdom Battle

If you wanna hear my Xbox E3 predictions in full I talk about them on We The Gamercast this week. Here’s the handy audio link!

And for the love of all that is holy let’s hope this isn’t a real thing!

Have a great weekend! Happy gaming!
